WOMEN’S TRAINER GUIDE
How to compare women’s trainers online
A similar picture and product name are not enough. Follow these checks to compare the exact women’s release and the real cost of buying it.
1. Confirm the women’s version
The same trainer name may be sold in men’s, women’s, junior and unisex versions. Sizing, fit, colour details and product codes can differ. Make sure both retailer pages describe the same version.
2. Match the complete colourway
Retailers sometimes shorten colour names. Use the brand’s full description where possible and compare every colour—not just “black” or “white”.
3. Check the SKU character by character
The manufacturer code is the strongest identifier. Nike’s women’s Shox Z Calistra in Black/Black/Black, for example, uses IR5510-001. A different final number usually means a different release or colourway.
4. Check which UK sizes are selectable
“In stock” can mean that only one size remains. Record the sizes that can actually be selected and flag low-stock sizes clearly.
5. Compare the delivered total
Add standard delivery or consider free Click & Collect. A £54 product with £3.99 delivery costs £57.99 at checkout, unless you collect it.
A verified example
When checked on 13 September 2026, the women’s Nike Shox Z Calistra with SKU IR5510-001 was £119.99 at Nike and £54 at OFFICE. The exact product-price saving was £65.99, or 55%.
